Application for product and service registration. The assigned Code is chosen by the user at his discretion (usually the abbreviation of the product or service name) and is converted to capital letters after entry. It is used for easier identification of items, e.g. in document overviews and saves space in printouts.

After opening the empty form to create a new item, the measure unit is pre-filled according to the default settings for the new product. Mandatory input fields are highlighted in red.

If you are a VAT payer, you need to enter the tax group for the items by choosing from a list, which is fixed and cannot be edited or expanded.

Inserting the price is possible after clicking on the Add Line button. The current (today's) date is automatically pre-filled and the price entry is expected. Existing price lines can be freely edited by double-clicking on the given cell (it will change to editing field) or by pressing Alt-Q keys, which will transfer control from the product header to the price table. The arrow keys can then be used to select the required row and column and the Enter key to start editing. Pressing Enter again confirms the change and Esc cancels it.

If the width of the columns in the price table is changed or they are moved to another position, the Restore Layout button becomes available, which can be used to return the table to its original arrangement.
