Allegro Framework UI

Applications can be in Allegro Framework run in the following ways:

Menu

A standard way to get an overview of available applications and to allow them to run.

Code

One of the wide range of user settings that Allegro Framework offers is to assign custom code to the selected applications. These can then be opened by entering the code in the corresponding input field in the status bar. The Alt+C keyboard shortcut can be used to activate this field.

But creating application codes offers another very interesting feature - ticking one or more codes ensures that the assigned application starts automatically immediately after Allegro Framework startup.

Identifier

Another option is to use a unique identifier assigned to the application by the programmer. The input field with the list of these identifiers is located on the status bar and can also be accessed with the Alt+I keyboard shortcut.

Desktop

The last method is offered by Desktop. It contains its own menu of applications modified to run on its own work area. If any of its applications remain open when you quit Desktop, they are automatically started the next time you open Desktop. This feature, in combination with the applied option to launch Desktop after startup Allegro Framework, can achieve a similar effect as marking application codes for automatic start (see above).
